A community-building campaign I developed from the ground up for Great Iowa Pet Expo. Powder Face of the Month is a recurring newsletter feature celebrating senior pets, driven by monthly social media submission callouts that invite the brand's audience to share photos and stories of their gray-muzzled companions. Across five callout posts and one thank you post, the campaign turned passive followers into active contributors and gave the brand a consistent, heartwarming content thread to build around. Great Iowa Pet Expo Monthly Newsletter
When I came on board at Great Iowa Pet Expo, there was no newsletter infrastructure in place. I built it entirely from scratch, conceiving the recurring segments, writing the copy, and designing the layout for a monthly send that now reaches 9,346 subscribers. From the Powder Face(s) of the Month community feature to the vendor spotlights and pet tips, every element was designed to give Cathy's audience something worth opening every month. VIEW HERE
