Client Overview
Artfull is Johnston, Iowa's go-to creative playground for all ages. Founded in 2018 by former preschool teacher Stacey Schuurmann, the DIY art studio offers a rotating lineup of workshops, open studio sessions, private events, summer camps, and take-home craft kits, covering everything from pottery and macrame to splatter art and calligraphy. Equal parts welcoming and wonderfully messy, Artfull is a space where imagination comes first and perfection takes a back seat.

A three-month run of a vibrant, community-focused email marketing campaign designed for the Iowa-based art studio, Artfull. I handled the copywriting using the brand's website as a creative guide, then drew up the entire custom layout, background patterns, and retro window assets from scratch. To keep production efficient for the owner, I built everything into a flexible, color-swappable Canva template system before migrating the final layouts into Shopify for delivery. VIEW HERE


Clay Membership/Mud Club Promo
An organic promotional post created to drive monthly recurring subscriptions for Artfull's clay studio. Using a client-supplied photo of the working studio space, the design incorporates fluid, organic shapes to mirror the overall playfulness of the brand. The layout intentionally pairs these visuals with a structured caption format, breaking down complex membership perks like studio hours, equipment access, and tiered pricing into a clear, easy-to-read checklist for potential members. Open Studio Promo
A social media graphic and promotional post built to increase foot traffic for Artfull’s casual, drop-in Open Studio hours. To highlight the freedom of the offering, I designed custom paint-splatter framing elements from scratch and paired them with a client-supplied photo showing customers working on completely different types of crafts. The copywriting matches this flexible energy, stepping away from rigid sales pitches to focus on a casual, low-barrier invite that emphasizes community and convenience. VIEW HERE
